Greetings from April 5th!

So, I'm finally settled-in in Japan.  This journal will still be used, but it will be updated a lot less in favor of. . . . . . freezieinjapan.  That's where most of my new stuff will be. . . so that my friends that don't read this journal can keep up with me, but so that I don't have to go back and up the security level on all my entries.

As usual, Wal-Mart sucks. The foil my plans like you wouldn't believe and make me work while I'm sick. I love my job. *sarcasm*

So the unpleasant crapiness started yesterday while I was walking to German Linguistics. I was walking up the stairs to Philips Hall when suddenly, I just fell. I put my left foot down and it couldn't support my weight. And after that, boy did it hurt. I finished up my classes for the day and went to work. I started feeling fine, my ankle only hurt a little but after a while I was in a huge ammount of pain.

I asked my boss if I could go home after my work was done, so I probably would have left at like 8 p.m. And you know what he said to me? He said, "We have fast acting Advil." So I worked the rest of my shift.

Today I came in and when I slid my badge through the time clock it said, "ETA rejected." that means my time off for March was refused. I never ask for time off. . I rarely call in sick and the only time off I want just happens to be over inventory so they can't give it to me. . dumb! Inventory isn't even supposed to be my job. . that's June's problem. Spring Break is the only time I can go home to see my family. . . and they freaking said no? I really don't think my store cares about its' worker's happiness.

So I'm stuck in Iowa City over Spring Break. . for the second year in a row. Chibi's going to come hang out with me. . but I still wanted to see my mom and my brother and all my friends. Oh well I guess. . . Wal-Mart's just stupid. . . I so would have quit last night if I had some way to pay for my tuition.

I'm thinking about asking that place that gave me a loan last semester for another one. . . I just wanna be done with Wal-Mart. . they're dumb. . and I wanna screw them over bad.

I'm kinda tempted to order it cause Japanese Manga is WAY prettier than American manga. My Tokyo Babylon japanese manga is way prettier than my Tokyo Pop version. The only drawback would be is that I don't have the ability to read it. . . unless it happens to be in English or German which is highly doubtful.

Okay so I was reading about Legal Drug (Gouhou Drug) by CLAMP and there are cameo appearances by the cast of Suki (Suki Dakara Suki) also by CLAMP. So yay!!! And also as I expected, since it IS CLAMP, there are mild shonen-ai elements to it. I'm definetly picking this one up when it comes out in October.




Lunar: Silver Star Story and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue are two of the most funny and messed up games I have ever played. So I will be entertaining you daily with fun new Lunar Quotes. Look for them and have a laugh or just shake your head in shame!!! >_<
